Symbiosis of painting and sculpture

Elke Zimmermann is a freelance artist. She is passionate about sculpture. Born in Upper Franconia, she now lives and works in Mörsach. Her artistic path led her to artistic sculpture after studying music in Würzburg. She has also graduated as a logo therapist in 2020 (DGLE). She has been working as a sculptor since 2004, specialising in bronze sculptures. Her delicate, powerful figures capture moving moments – full of expression, humour and depth. Particularly fascinating is her flair for visualising inner emotional worlds, which brings her works to life. Her unique bronze pieces can be found in private collections and in public spaces. She designs memorials, fountains and Christian works of art and gives them an unmistakable expressiveness.
Reinhard Zimmermann, a freelance artist, was born in Middle Franconia. He lives and works in Mörsach am Altmühlsee. He completed his studies at the Academy of Fine Arts as a master student with honours. At the same time, he studied solo singing at the Meistersingerkonservatorium and performed at the opera in Nuremberg. In 1992, Reinhard Zimmermann was honoured with the Bavarian State Prize. His art is characterised by an independent pictorial and formal language. His lyrical abstract painting is characterised by musical and biblical impulses. It includes cycles on Christian themes, mythology and current social developments. The artist realises art in architecture, develops spatial concepts and overall artistic designs for secular and sacred spaces. He has created 16 churches and chapels. His travel cycles bring impressions from numerous countries to life – New Zealand, Japan, Greece and more.
Works by Reinhard Zimmermann can be found in private collections as well as in public spaces.
